One Book, One Richmond

One Book, One Richmond

One Book, One Richmond, a program of the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement and the One Book, One Richmond Committee, encourages students, staff, faculty, alumni, and members of the Richmond community to read and discuss a selected book on a social justice issue. Events and programs on various themes found in the selected text are offered throughout the academic year and are open to all unless otherwise noted.

Plans for One Book, One Richmond
There is no new book selection for the 2023-24 academic year. Instead, the One Book, One Richmond Committee will be pausing to creatively vision for the next 20 years of the program, reflecting on nearly two decades of dynamic social justice reads and engaging with campus partners to plan for the future.
